Our 12 Step Carpet Cleaning Program |
| |
Before our cleaning technicians arrive, please move all small items, such as boxes, magazines, and shoes, out of the room, and remove any fragile items from tables or other furniture that may need to be moved. Also, please arrange for pets and children to be away from the area while cleaning is taking place. |
STEP 1 — Pre-Inspection |
Our cleaning professionals will tell you exactly what we can do to improve your carpet, make it healthier, and last longer. We will address the specific cleaning needs for your carpeting, highlight areas of concern, and note any possible permanent staining issues. |
STEP 2 — Commercial pre-vacuum |
Your carpet will be thoroughly vacuumed with a special Turbine Vacuum System to remove bonded dry soil. Dry soil is removed by a thorough vacuuming. Removing dry soil is one of the most important steps in cleaning. |
 |
STEP 3 — Furniture Moving |
Furniture that can be safely and easily moved out of the area will be removed. Larger pieces (beds, dressers, entertainment centers) will be left in place and protected from cleaning materials. |
STEP 4 — Pre-spray & Pre-spot |
| High traffic areas and deep stains are specifically sprayed and treated to help remove heavy soil and spots. |
STEP 5 — Pre-Groom |
| Carpeting is agitated to loosen soil and dirt to ensure it is thoroughly removed during the cleaning process. |
STEP 6 — Extract & Rinse |
Once the soil has been loosened, our state-of-the-art truck-mounted hot water extraction process will thoroughly flush the carpet pile. Pressure and heat are regulated so that carpet is not over-wet. We clean with water temperature between 180 °F - 190 °F. |
STEP 7 — Neutralize |
Every carpet that we clean is pH balanced so that there is no sticky residue left behind. This treatment is used as a rinse or applied after the rinse depending on soiling condition. Improving air quality by removing pollens, dust mites, etc. |
 |
STEP 8 — Post-spot Treatment |
If any spots are not removed during the cleaning process, specialty spotting techniques are employed. Note: Permanent stains identified by our service technician may not be removed. |
STEP 9 — Dry Bonnet |
Some carpets benefit from a dry bonnet process. Ask your technician whether he advises this process or not. Dry bonnet assists in faster drying and prevents wicking on some carpets. This step is only for Berber and commercial loop carpets only. |
STEP 10 — Speed Dry |
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet to speed dry carpet. Our exclusive Advanced Drying Technology results in dry carpets in an hour or less. |
 |
STEP 11 — Post Grooming |
| The carpet pile is set in one direction for faster drying and visual appeal. |
STEP 12 — Post Inspection |
Upon completion, a cleaning professional will walk through the area with you to inspect our work and answer any questions you may have. We will also provide shoe booties to use when walking on the carpeting the rest of the day. Please walk through your home or business to inspect our work. Let us know that you are pleased by signing our service receipt. |
